LOVELYWHOLESALE FASHION TRY ON HAUL FOR CURVY WOMEN

Thanks again for stopping by to Gather with Gems. Today's post is about LovelyWholesale Fashion. LovelyWholesale in case you didn't know, is an Online Clothing store that sells Affordable, and Fashionable clothing pieces that won't break the bank. 

I used to see ads on my social media account from LovelyWholesale daily, and what really resonated with me, was that their models who posed in these outfits  for "Regular" sized women, were also available for Curvy/Plus size women. So, if I saw a woman that was smaller than me in a really cute outfit, I actually have the opportunity to purchase that exact outfit in my size as well.

For a Curvy, Plus Size woman like myself, you have no idea how refreshing that is. It is refreshing because, I gained a lot of weight after having children, and as women, our bodies go through so many different things, during both pregnancy and postpartum. Unfortunately for me, at that time almost 13 years ago, plus size fashion had not evolved to were it is today. So my clothing choices that were available were TERRIBLE. The terrible  look of the items wasn't the worst part, what made it worse was that the items were over priced as well.  

SO, YOU MEAN TO TELL ME, AS A PLUS SIZE WOMAN, I HAVE TO WEAR UGLY NON-FASHIONABLE ITEMS DUE TO BEING OVERWEIGHT??!!? To say that I was upset was an understatement.  

Now Gems, please don't get me wrong, in no way am I making excuses.YES I could do something about my weight, and that is on me. For that I take accountability. But, how shallow would that be to say OK, let me hurry and lose this weight so I can scurry and buy cute fashionable clothes again. 

Seriously, that's just not how it works. Being healthy should be top of mind for anyone, but to tell a woman that is overweight to hurry and lose weight, if you want to be able to shop and find cute clothes again, in my opinion is not only an ignorant statement, but it truly lacks empathy to what may have led her to that place to begin with. Myself for example, was battling a lot of health issues, needless to say, there just wasn't cute clothes to wear back then.

Fast Forward, now there are so many boutiques and online stores that provide affordable fashion to all women, of all shapes and sizes and LovelyWholesale fit the bill.

There are many reviews about LovelyWholesale, such as Will I get What I Ordered or Will it Fit, but when you think about it, if you are purchasing a dress that only costs $10.00, chances are, it may not have the best quality when it comes to the fabric. My personal experience with LovelyWholesale is that, I generally get the items that I purchase or pick out to be pretty close to the picture. 

Now I will say this,

I did purchase a wig from there, it was $9.99 and when I tell you.... Once that wig arrived I was too through!! lol. It was terrible, and my Expectations versus my Reality were completely off. The fact that I was expecting the wig to look like, a wig valued at $100.00, even though I purchased it for $10.00, was reaching beyond the stars at that point. 

Besides the wig incident, the items that I have received have been pretty good and I have been pleased with them. I made my first and only purchase from LovelyWholesale in April of 2020, and it took one month for me to receive my package. This was at the beginning of the Pandemic. Once, I received my package, I recorded my very first Clothing Try-On haul which garnered over 4000 views and counting.

I was pleasantly shocked, because I didn't realize that I would get such positive feedback and views. Needless to say, some months passed by and LovelyWholesale reached out to me and offered to Partner with me to send me items in exchange for a Try On Haul Video. 

I was beyond excited, because a goal of mine was of coarse to build my platform, and have all of my beautiful sisters of all shades, shapes, and backgrounds to Gather with Me, but I also want to be able to Partner with Brands that I enjoy shopping with.
